🚌 Calderstones School has hit a roadblock. 🚌
Both of our school minibuses – the lifeblood of our sports teams, our Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, and our science trips – are on their last wheels. Currently, we are forced to spend thousands of pounds on external coach hire – money that should be going into our classrooms – just to ensure our students don't miss out on the "Experience Guarantee" we promised them.
We are raising £80,000 to fund two brand-new 15-seater minibuses. This isn't just about school runs. These buses will take our sports team to their matches, robotics teams to championships, our hikers to the peaks of the Lake District, and our rewards trips to celebrate the hard work of our diverse community. We want to ensure that every student, regardless of background, can access opportunities outside the school gates without transport costs being a hurdle.
HOW YOU CAN HELP US BUILD OUR BUS:
🔩 £10: Buy a bolt for our fleet.
⛽ £50: Fuel a journey for our teams.
➰ £100: Fund a seatbelt for safety.
💺 £500: Sponsor a seat with a permanent plaque.
