Optional ongoing projects 

Students will be required to gather and bring in their own ingredients for food practical lessons.

Students will receive individual worksheets or a homework booklet which will be an ongoing piece of work to last throughout a topic. 

Research / revision homework may also be set.

Students are encouraged to participate in cookery/D&T/STEM clubs

Students can also optionally complete their STEM passport, to achieve their bronze award.

English

Worksheets to consolidate or further classroom learning; learn/revise general geographic knowledge; extended homework projects running throughout a topic; research/pre-learning activities; revision for assessments

History

At least twice per half term depending on the homework piece assigned.

Enquiry based project on current study topic – extended independent enquiry.  This will be the main homework set by the teacher for the half term.

Assessment preparation.  KS3 students complete at least one formal assessment per half term prior to this they will have tasks/revision to prepare for the assessment.

Short homework activities – the individual classroom teacher may decide to set these either to supplement the above or in place of the project enquiry.

ICT/Computing

One extended piece of work over 3 weeks for each unit of work (6/7 weeks)

Research or development of work based upon feedback.
