REMOTE ACCESS FOR STAFF AND PUPILS


This remote access solution for Staff and Students enables access to programs, documents, resources and internal websites via your Internet browser. Users need to have the following though to use the connection:

A Computer running either Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista or Windows 7
A Broadband internet connection
Internet Explorer 7 and above

Anyone who does not have the above may well either encounter technical issues or be unable to connect to the service at all unfortunately.

1. Right click here, choose 'Save Target As' and save the Terminal Server connection file to your computer.

2. Double click on the saved file to activate the connection procedure.

3. A login box should appear - you need to type CALDERCC3\YOUR SCHOOL USERNAME and then your school password. If you click 'Save my Details', you may find the system doesn't accept your details. Untick the box and try your details again.

4. Your computer will then connect to the Terminal Server and you will be able to access school resources and software from your home PC.
